Baby C Update

Baby C is most likely going to stay where he is for a little while longer! When I went to the doctor Tuesday, my blood pressure was fairly good (138/79), Baby C was doing a good job of practicing his breathing, and everything was looking great!  Unless my blood pressure starts giving me trouble again or Baby C decides to arrive on his own, we now have a tentative inducement date! We will go into the hospital August 5th at night to start the inducement and Baby C would most likely be born on August 6th.  This is the day our doctor is on call, so that way he would be available throughout the entire labor/delivery :)  Baby C is currently hanging out head down with his face towards my back, so he is in the right position, but we were unable to get good picture of him from the ultrasound.  However, he does have some hair, they said :)

No Better Time!

Now seems like a great time to start a blog!  I am currently 36 weeks pregnant and Baby C is doing great. Ultrasound estimated him at 6lbs 12ounces and he is very healthy. I have been dealing with blood pressure issues from the start, and because of this, I am now seeing the doctor 2 times a week for non-stress tests and 1 time a week for ultrasounds.  Blood pressure has been steady at 130's/80's, but today it was 140/94.  So, more testing (yay bloodwork)!  The nurse practitioner and doctor said that if the number stays above 90 on the bottom or any of the tests come back abnormal, Baby C could be making his arrival as early as the beginning of next week!  Thank God for supportive family who came down to Champaign and helped get the nursery set up!  Doctor also said that he won't let the pregnancy go past 39 weeks, so Baby C is arriving soon no matter what!  Thanks to everyone for all the support throughout this pregnancy!
